What is an activation
code?An activation code is a unique set of
numbers and letters that is used to activate a member's
account. It helps Billhighway verify a member's
identity. An activation code can only be sent to your
son/daughter's email address and will only work in combination with that
email address.
What if the activation code
doesn't work? The activation code must be
used in combination with your son/daughter's email address to create a
user name and password. The activation code will not work with any other
email address.
If you would like to make a payment,
you can use
Pay Now
with just the account number and email
address.
Why can't I create a parent
account with my own username and
password? Each member account has only one
username and password. The default username is your
son/daughter's email address (not your own). Once your son/daughter has
received an activation code and created their username and password,
they may share it with you. All password resets must be done by
the Billhighway member, using the thier email
address and activation code.
How can I make a credit card
payment?Billhighway offers the credit card
payment option to all of our client organizations. However, each
organization sets their own guidelines for allowing credit card
payments. Check with your organization to see if they allow credit card
payments.
How do I know
what amount is due?The amount due
is located on the billing statement. If you do not have a copy of the
current billing statement, please contact your son/daughter for
a copy.
Why wasn't I billed for the
amount on my payment plan? Each individual
chapter has the ability to allow monthly installments through their
Billhighway account. If you completed a payment plan form
for your son/daughter's chapter, it is the responsibility of
the chapter officer to change the account from a one-time payment option
to a monthly payment option. Billhighway is not authorized to change
payment options. Please contact the chapter officer to have the payment
option changed.
What is an
e-check?An e-check is an electronic check
that withdraws the funds directly from your checking account just like a
paper check. To pay with an e-check, you will need to enter your bank
account number and routing number. This information can be found on your
paper check.
US routing numbers contain 9 digits and
are typically located on the bottom left of your paper check. Bank
account numbers vary in the number of digits, but are typically located
on the bottom right of your paper check.
Can I mail in my
payment?Yes, you can mail a check or money
order to our processing center. It is important that you include the
remittance slip, found at the bottom of the billing statement that was
emailed to you. Please check with your organization for the proper
mailing address.
How do I get a copy of the
billing statement?To receive a copy of a
future billing statement, you will need to have your son/daughter add
your email address to their Billhighway.com member account. To get a
copy of any previous statement, simply go into Pay Now and click the My
Statements tab.
What do all of these fees
mean? The chapter officer assigns fees to
the member accounts. Your statement may include scheduled fees for
planned dues, room and board and national fees. The statement may also
include other fees, which are used for items such as tickets, t-shirts,
fines, etc. Both types of fees will be included on the billing
statement. If you have specific questions as to why you were billed for
an item, contact the chapter officer for an
explanation.
Can I have a paper statement
mailed to me?Most of the organizations
that partner with Billhighway use paperless statements. Please check
with the Executive Office of your organization if paper statements are
available.
